Lord Bregdan
(Old Maelan, "To move quickly")
??? - 870 MA
  • By 851 MA, he is a secret ally of Lambitelor and shares in that land’s anti-Magic views, especially of the Jevrethor (which he has several secretly kept captive).
  • Between 852-870 MA, Lord Bregdan hires several raider vessels to intercept a ship that is carrying the Night Stone. The stone is brought to him and he sails for Narthendar with his Stone.
    • With the Stone in hand, he plans to use it to control his captive Jevrethor and lead a rebellion to take over all of Narthendar and help bring the kings of Lambitelor back to Lamniemalos.
    • Bregdan goes mad brooding over the Stone’s power. His use of the stone causes a storm to emerge that sends his ship off course along the northern coast of Narthendar and sinks somewhere in the icy northern waters.
Lord Staelan
(Old Maelan, "to found, carry on, avenge")
870 MA - 903 MA
  • In 870 MA, Staelan swears to seek out the stone that betrayed his father and destroy it.
  • Between 902-903 MA, Staelan discovers the Night Stone that destroyed his father and leads his forces there to slaughter the tribe and take to stone. He returns with the stone in secret to North Narthendar.
  • In 903 MA, Staelan is assassinated by his son Wealcan.
Lord Wealcan
(Old Maelan, "billow, rolling wave, light, floating garment")
903 MA - 932 MA
  • Wealcan, much like his grandfather Bregdan, always had a deep hatred for Jevrethor (one of which killed his sister in his youth). He intended to carry out his grandfather’s plan: enslaving the Jevrethor and using them to establish an anti-Magic state (much like Lambitelor) in Narthendar and Lamniemalos.
  • In 903 MA, when Wealcan learned of his father’s plan to destroy the stone, had him assassinated and framed him as the one who took (and intended to use) the Stone.
    • Wealcan secretly steals the stone and hides it in the chief city of North Narthendar.
    • He is hailed as a hero for stopping his father’s alleged plans. However The Vanguard and Vasomi step up patrols seeking for the Stone in Narthendar. Wealcan realizes he cannot immediately use the Stone and thus elects to hide it in the ruins of Zalothairar.
  • In 905 MA, Wealcan establishes Aernclyf.
  • Wealcan dies of old age in 932 MA.
Lord Folgere
(Old Maelan, "follower, attendant, disciple")
932 MA - 939 MA
  • After Wealcan's death in 932 MA, his son Folgere took command and learn of the location of the Night Stone that his father once held.
    • He retrieved it and began using it to enslave the jevrethor that were held in North Narthendar.
    • The Vanguard became suspicious of Folgere as they have heard rumors of the enslavement in North Narthendar.
  • In 933 MA, Folgere captured a Diasair-vil, whom he feared may have anointed a new Chosen, and imprisons him in Aernclyf.
  • In 936 MA, The Anorthile forces patrolling the Narthendar region are taken away to assist in the coming war against Lambitelor. Lord Folgere sees his chance to strike against Anorthile.
    • Folgere orders the King of Anorthile assassinated while the kingdom's fleets prepare to sail in midsummer of that year.
    • Folgere has a diversion created to take Anorthile forces away from the attack on Lambitelor: the House of Joldeseb, allies of Folgere, attempted to take the throne and seized two of the three fortresses that guard Anorthile's capital vale.
    • Folgere launched his attack against the other Narthendar states (South Narthendar and Mundríce) and Lamniemalos. Many of his supporters in South Narthendar and northern Lamniemalos join his forces (the rebellion known as the Whitecrown Insurrection). Folgere’s enslaved jevrethor spearhead in his assaults.
  • Folgere's siege of Mundríce was broken in 937 MA and the forces of Driesefair and Vishethas besieged Múthrand.
    • The Anointed’s forces in southern Lamniemalos were pinned down by Folgere’s jevrethor and rebels from the north.
  • In 938 MA, The forces of Driesefair and Vishethas took Múthrand with heavy losses as Folgere diverts most of his jevrethor forces to the west.
  • In 939 MA, Folgere goes to the hidden fortress of Aernclyf. From here, he divided his jevrethor into three forces: one lead his western forces in the mountains, another lead his southern forces in the forest south of the fortress, and the last was a small group left guarding the fortress.
    • The old King of Lambitelor's son betrays Folgere by revealing the location of Aernclyf.
    • Heofon najiros and The King of Gorandel's forces launched a surprise attack on Aernclyf in midsummer.
    • Folgere recalled his jevrethor nearest to the fortress using his Night Stone, but they arrive too late. Folgere is subdued and his stone is destroyed, releasing the jevrethor from his control.
    • No longer under Folgere’s control, the jevrethor exacted revenge by killing Folgere and Aernclyf.
