The Calendar represent the mechanics behind the passage of time, days, weeks, months and even years in The Lays of Althas: Sundered Order.

When you're playing the game, Time and Days will pass, although at varying degrees depending on where you are and what you're doing.

Althas Calendar

The following is the Calendar used in the game:

Passage of Time

In Althas, there are:

  • 3 Seasons per Year
  • 2 Months per Season
  • 10 Weeks per Month
  • 6 Days per Week
  • 24 hours a Day
  • 60 minutes per Hour
  • 60 seconds per Minute

The speed of time will vary depending on where you are in Althas.

Conversation

When you're talking to stationary NPCSs, Time will be 1-to-1:

  • 1 Real-World Second = 1 In-game Second.

Interiors

When you're inside an Interior, Time will be 1-to-1:

  • 1 Real-World Second = 1 In-game Second.

Settlements

When you're inside a Settlement, Time will be 1-to-60:

  • 1 Real-World Second = 1 In-game Minute.

Wilderness

When you're outside of a Settlement, Time will be 1-to-300:

  • 1 Real-World Second = 5 In-game Minutes.
