The Calendar represent the mechanics behind the passage of time, days, weeks, months and even years in The Lays of Althas: Sundered Order.

When you're playing the game, Time and Days will pass, although at varying degrees depending on where you are and what you're doing.

Althas Calendar

The following is the Calendar used in the game:

Currently not implemented in the game yet.

Passage of Time

In Althas, there are:

  • 3 Seasons per Year
  • 2 Months per Season
  • 10 Weeks per Month
  • 6 Days per Week
  • 24 hours a Day
  • 60 minutes per Hour
  • 60 seconds per Minute

The speed of time will vary depending on where you are in Althas.

Stationary Conversations

When the PC is talking to stationary NPC[s], Time will be 1:1:

  • 1 Real-World Second = 1 In-Game Second

Interiors

When the PC is inside an Interior, Time will be 1:1:

  • 1 Real-World Second = 1 In-Game Second

Settlements

When the PC is inside a Settlement, but outside of an Interior, Time will be 1:6:

  • 1 Real-World Second = 6 In-Game Seconds

Caves

When the PC is inside of a Cave, Time will be 1:30:

  • 1 Real-World Second = 30 In-Game Seconds

Wilderness

When the PC is outside of a Settlement, Time will be 1:30:

  • 1 Real-World Second = 30 In-Game Seconds
