North Narthendar was a protectorate state which ruled the northern Narthendar region after the fall of the Narthendar kingdom. They were under the protection of Lamniemalos.
The kingdom fell around 1070 MA, during the The War of Calamities.
History
In 486 MA, during the Northern Interregnum (after the Narthendar kingdom had fallen), the Kings of the remaining Anointed kingdoms decided that Narthendar would be split up into two protectorate states: North and South Narthendar. Lamniemalos was given charge of protecting North Narthendar.

Over the years, it was expanded and used for both spying and imprisonment purposes. The fortress fell in 939 MA after The Whitecrown Insurrection. Aernclyf means "secret rock" in Old Maelan.
