Man (plural Men) is an intelligent being, created by Driomi, to rule the world of Jevreth. When capitalized, the term is used to infer the Jevreth people as the species of Man, while the lower-case "man" is used to refer to a male among the species (and "woman" for female).
History
Before recorded time, and after Driomi created Jevreth, he created Man upon the world (within 7 groups, one in each of the). He also gives them the gift of the Celestial language. At this time, they are perfect and without fault as to Driomi's Will. They are able to quickly form together to create basic clan societies, and invent great tools and works with the brilliant minds they're given.
In 300 MA, however, the Drevril come into Althas and create chaos among Man.
